The Centurion Show Band, based in York, North Yorkshire,
provides a wide range of performing arts opportunities to
children and young adults through a series of educational
and performance based activities centred around music and
movement. |

Our wide and varied selection of programmes are delivered by
an experienced team of instructional and support staff, and
includes outdoor pageantry, dance and theatre skills,
corporate and promotional events, as well as a series of
exciting and enjoyable programmes such as a 'Stomp' style
group playing bins, drain pipes and anything else that you
can get a sound out of. |

Our membership is drawn from across the county, with some
coming from as far away as Nottingham, although our roots
are firmly planted in the beautiful and historic City of
York. |

Our wide range of educational and performance based
programmes have seen our membership perform nationwide
winning the title of 'Best British Band' at the Edinburgh
Spring Festival, performing live to millions broadcast on TV
worldwide from the London New Years Day Parade, and winning
countless UK competitions. |
