Centurion Percussion |

The
Centurion Percussion Section is made up of a diverse blend of
instrumental voices including marching drums and concert percussion,
and is split into two sub-sections - the Battery and the Front
Ensemble. |

|
The
Battery Section consists of Marching Percussion Instrumentation
including High Tension Snare Drums, 5 Piece Multi Tenors (also known
as Quint's), and Tonal Bass Drums (16", 20", 24" and 28").
These instruments give a clean, crisp and precise quality of sound
that has excellent projection from the competition field. The
Battery Section also regularly run educational workshops and clinics
presented by the Percussion Caption Head Phil Johnson. |

The Front
Ensemble takes the form of a traditional orchestra 'pit' style
set-up, including instruments such as Marimbas, Xylophones and
Concert Drums, as well as Timbales, Congas and a large range of
Auxiliary Percussion Instruments and Accessories. |

|
The Front
Ensemble provide a solid rhythmical backing from a static position
at the front of the competition field. |
|
