When? |
|
Our year
is split in two, with a 'close' or 'winter' season that see's the
band learn new routines, as well as performing at fundraising events
and running our own highly attended social events. The winter
season runs between October and May. |
|
|
The
'competition' or 'summer' season runs between June and September and
see's the band performing all across the UK and even in to Europe in
competitions, parades, galas and concerts. As a member of the band
you will get to visit places you wouldn't normally have the
opportunity to, and do things that other people of your age don't
get given the opportunity to do. |
|
|
|
Our
members have entertained thousands in Edinburgh as part of the
Spring Festival and have even been broadcast live on TV to millions
worldwide, whilst performing to the many thousands who lined the
streets during the London New Years Day Parade, and will soon be
involved with the many celebrations of the 2012 Olympic Games. |
|
|
|
We hold
regular weekly rehearsals on a Sunday evening between 5pm and 9pm,
as well as extra rehearsals during the summer. We also plan
extra rehearsals all year round for the various other performance
units that make up the Centurion Organisation. |
