the Starz is a recruitment campaign run by the Centurion Show Band,
aimed at finding a range of talents from across York and North
Yorkshire, specifically music and dance talent. If you are aged 6+
and are looking for a challenging and enjoyable activity to do in
your spare time, then this is for you! |

The
Centurion Show Band is a not-for-profit youth performing arts
charity based in York, UK, operating several different performance
units including a show band, concert band, trash band, funk band,
and percussion group. |
|
|
|
Each year
these various units travel the length and breadth of the UK (and
even into Europe) competing in competitions, performing in concerts,
parades, galas and stage shows. As a member you will get to meet new
friends, visit places you've never been before, learn to play a
musical instrument or dance, learn vital life skills such as
teamwork and striving for excellence, and will become a part of one
of the most successful performing arts units in the UK. |
